Following the first three editions held in Rennes in 2014, in Rabat in 2017 and in Dakar in 2019 (please visit: https://www6.inrae.fr/lait-vecteur-developpement), we are very pleased to announce that the 4th edition of the International symposium on ‘Milk, driver of development’ will be held in El Mouradi Palace, Gammarth, Tunis, Tunisia from March 6th to 8th 2023.

The main ambition of this international symposium is to ensure more effective coordination of operations centering on milk and dairy products in Europe and in developing countries.

The objective of these international meetings is to further the exchanges of experience around diversity of development models concerning milk development observed worldwide. It's a real opportunity to bring together private companies, producer organizations, policy makers, NGOs, development agencies and scientists, to highlight the vitality and the future of dairy sectors.

The 4th international meetings "Milk, driver of development" is organized by INRAT, OEP, INRAE, CIRAD and IDELE. It will centre on a scientific symposium, exhibition of dairy innovations as well as visits to farms.

This fourth edition will address, among other topics: the specificity of local and regional milk development; Sustainability and resilience of the dairy sectors in a changing world; Evolution and future of the dairy sectors in the face of global uncertainty and turbulence.
